The first weekly reset in Aion 2 is less forgiving than it looks. New players naturally spend the opening days leveling, completing quests, learning combat systems, and collecting Aion 2 Items from whatever content they encounter. That is a normal way to play, but some rewards are attached to weekly counters, meaning an unfinished activity can represent a lost opportunity once the reset happens.
That is why I would organize Aion 2 Items around their role in progression instead of simply collecting everything that drops. Enhancement materials can strengthen your current gear, dungeon equipment can replace temporary leveling pieces, and account-wide rewards can continue helping future characters. With that in mind, the first weekly checklist should focus on activities that either have a hard limit or unlock additional progression.
Check Your Merchants Before Anything Else
One of the simplest mistakes to avoid is forgetting weekly purchases.
Command Scrolls should be checked early because their weekly stock can disappear when the reset occurs. The available PvE and PvP merchants provide a limited number of scrolls, and buying them does not necessarily mean you need to complete every quest immediately.
I would make merchant checks part of the first login routine. It takes much less time to purchase the available stock than it does to realize several days later that you missed the opportunity.
The same idea applies to Bio-Research Base Challenge Tickets. These tickets can provide additional access to resource-oriented dungeon content, so they are worth checking even if you do not intend to use them that same day.
Seven Dungeon Entries Are Easy To Waste
Daily Dungeons are one of the most straightforward weekly priorities.
Despite the daily name, the free allowance is seven entries across the weekly cycle. That means you can spread them out rather than feeling forced to log in every day just to protect the counter.
The important part is making each run productive. Clearing more monsters can improve the reward outcome, while the resulting Enhance Stones are particularly useful for early gear progression.
I would personally avoid saving every entry for the final day. Real life, queues, maintenance, or unexpected problems can interfere with your plans. Completing several runs earlier gives you flexibility while still leaving room to use later entries after your equipment improves.
Extra tickets can extend the activity beyond the basic free allowance, but those should be considered additional opportunities rather than a reason to ignore the standard seven entries.
Use Ascension Trials At The Right Time
Ascension Trials are worth planning rather than simply clicking whenever they become available.
Each character receives three attempts during the weekly period. Because the limit is character-based, alternate characters can provide additional opportunities for players who want to develop more than one character.
The encounter also rewards progression materials that can contribute to longer-term character development. That makes it more meaningful than an ordinary leveling dungeon.
There is a practical reason to consider delaying the runs. If your character is still replacing early equipment, waiting until later in the week can give you stronger gear and a better chance of completing the content cleanly.
I would not wait until the final hour, though. Give yourself enough time to handle an unsuccessful attempt and still complete the weekly requirement.
Expeditions Should Support Your Gear Plan
Weekly expeditions are where your equipment planning becomes important.
Krao Cave and Fire Temple are among the early group activities that can help establish your equipment foundation. Their rewards are more useful when viewed as part of a larger progression plan rather than isolated drops.
For example, there is little reason to spend large amounts of enhancement material on a leveling item if a stronger expedition reward is likely to replace it soon. Save serious investment for equipment that has enough value to justify the cost.
This approach also makes the weekly reset easier to manage. Instead of trying to upgrade every item, you can concentrate on the pieces that are actually improving your ability to complete harder content.
Permanent Progress Deserves Attention
The first week is also a good time to work on open-world progression.
Feather collection and Monolith development can provide permanent account benefits, including useful statistics and additional progression rewards. These systems may not feel as exciting as receiving a new weapon, but their value lasts beyond one equipment upgrade.
This is especially important for players planning to maintain alternate characters. Account-wide improvements can make the entire roster stronger rather than helping only one character.
The Shugo Festival can fit into this part of the schedule as well. If you are playing with a coordinated group, reaching the desired point threshold efficiently can make the event more worthwhile. Rather than treating every tile or reward as equally important, following a simple team strategy can reduce wasted time.
Keep An Eye On Abyss Activities
Abyss content has its own place in the weekly routine.
Artifact sieges combine PvP and PvE elements and can open additional opportunities for collecting Abyss Points and Kinah. Because these activities are scheduled, they are harder to replace with ordinary farming if you miss them.
For players focused primarily on PvE, this does not mean changing the entire week around Abyss content. It simply means checking the schedule and participating when it fits your goals.
The same principle applies to any limited activity: know when it happens before deciding whether you have enough time to do it.
A Simple Weekly Routine
A good first-week routine does not need to be complicated. Start by checking merchants and buying limited Command Scrolls. Complete your free Daily Dungeon entries throughout the week, then use expedition rewards to improve the equipment that is worth keeping.
After your gear becomes stronger, use Ascension Trial attempts carefully. During the remaining playtime, work on Monolith and Feather progression, Shugo Festival rewards, and scheduled Abyss activities.
If your early progression leaves you short on currency for a planned upgrade, some players may choose to buy Aion 2 Kinah, but it is still worth deciding what the currency is actually needed for before spending it.
