Bald Head Island Club

Located on the southernmost of North Carolina’s cape islands, our private club is a secluded paradise accessible only by passenger ferries and private boats. The golf course, designed by George Cobb in 1974 and recently restored by Tim Cate, is routed around freshwater lagoons and along a natural sand dune ridge. The pristine coastal landscape offers sweeping views of protected salt marshes and the Atlantic Ocean from several holes. The island’s flora and fauna are beautifully complemented by hundreds of sabal palms (this is the northernmost place in the world where these trees grow naturally).
