A digital take on the traditional Fortune Teller Ball toy, the Online Magic 8 Ball was developed for both entertainment and question-answering purposes. The first 8 Ball was a black toy in the shape of a billiard ball with a multi-sided die submerged in liquid. The die is printed with a different response on each side.
