PACE-RI is a health plan for adults 55 and older who have chronic health needs but want to remain living at home. Founded in 2005, PACE-RI provides both insurance and medical care, as well as a range of health and social services including adult daycare, rides, and meals. Because of its comprehensive approach, PACE-RI is able to keep its medically complex participants out of nursing homes for over 4 years, on average. PACE-RI serves the entire state (except Block Island and Prudence Island) and 9 out of 10 participants would recommend PACE-RI to family and friends.
