Author Comments Advance Wars is one of the best strategy games out there. I really enjoyed playing through each of the series but have always found that there were several things that bothered me about the gameplay. Inspired by Advance Wars, I set out to build a turn-based strategy game that addressed those gameplay issues and Battalion: Nemesis is the result. If you've played Advance Wars, you'll notice that Nemesis encourages riskier and more aggressive tactics. Many of the units have special bonuses for attacking and recovering from a successful assault is easier with the repair-anywhere system. Naval invasions are as easy as a few clicks, and the result is some really intense battles with the wide array of specialized units. Actions are quicker, mistakes are less painful, but having a solid tactical plan is still the key to success. If you've never played Advance Wars, then you're missing out on some of the best turn based strategy goodness available. If you like Nemesis, you need to go to your local video game store and pick any of the Advance Wars games as they are required gaming for strategy fans.

Author Comments Please note, this is not an "escape" game. It's a straightforward point and click with an entire camp to explore. Started in 2004, this was intended to be the sequel to 2003's Escape from Elm Street. My friend Joe (SleazeRocker) and I paired up to create it, but got in a little over our heads and let the project drop. We worked on and off but eventually progress came to a halt. In 2005 I remade the original Elm Street game, while this one was still on the backburner. Finally at the beginning of 2008 we decided we couldn't let our old work go to waste- so we picked it back up, revamped everything, and finished it out. It worked out pretty well, because we had plenty of time to fix up problems in the game and polish it. Not to mention that music man Josh Kemp expressed interest in creating a custom soundtrack for it, which was an awesome addition to the atmosphere. Enjoy!
In this game there will be lines of balls with numbers on them. You can shoot balls to add new balls to the line. When the balls you shoot and the balls beside it add up to 10, these balls will be destroyed. You can also destroy a group of same numbered balls with only one ball. When you destroy all the balls you can proceed to the next level. If the balls reach the hole, then you lose the game. Occasionally there will be coins that appear on the screen, you can shoot the coins to get the colours of the balls sorted for a while, it will be a lot easier. Use the mouse to control the direction of the shots and click to shoot. You can also press the space bar to swap between the ball to shoot and the next ball to shoot.

Author Comments Here it is, another chapter in the ongoing saga of Reemus & Liam. Picking up where the prologue left off, Reemus & Liam journey to meet the King, but things don't go as smoothly as planned... More point and click puzzle action for those that enjoyed the first one. Two possible endings! I'm hoping to release a new chapter each month. Enjoy! I'm working on fixing all the random little bugs. If you find anything PM me and let me know how you achieved it, it'll help me find the source faster. Thanks!
Author Comments IMPORTANT: Make sure CAPS LOCK is not on while playing this game, otherwise some buttons won't work. It's a flaw in the code, sorry about that... The Rise of a KING takes a turn to the role playing genre, but still retains the action from its predecessor. If you havent played The Rise of a Knight, then there is a "Story so Far" section where you can watch a slideshow of what happened in the first game. Explore the world in and around Stormguard Castle as you start off on your first day as a Knight. Times are getting dark with the current king and many others behaving strangely while more and more dangerous creatures appear, causing trouble all over the kingdom. You seem to be the only one to see the obvious corruption, and its up to you to dissolve this matter... CONTROLS Left and right arrow keys to move. Up - jump. Down - shield. Spacebar - Interact A - Normal attack S - Heavy attack D - Use selected spell 1 - Cycle through weapons 2 - Cycle available armor 3 - Cycle through shields Q - Cycle through spells W - Drink Mana potion E - Drink Health potion C - show/hide controls M - Map O - Objectives P - Pause game T - Toggle quality You can save your progress by sleeping in your bed in the castle barracks. EDIT: For some reason the link to play The Rise of a Knight doesnt work in the game. I have no idea why, because it works on www.ArmorGames.com. If you want to play the first installment of this 2-part series, then just go to my profile here on Newgrounds, or choose The Rise of a Knight from the drop-down menu on this page.

HTLJ Katakana is the second program in a series meant to help learn japanese. In multiple instances, there are 2 symbols with the same romanization, so I marked one with an '*' to tell them apart. (the one marked is the one less commonly used in the language) This series of games is not meant to teach you Japanese on its own, it is meant to accompany a Japanese course, to help learn and eliminate the need for writing flash cards. This includes flashcards for katakana to romanization and back. There is also a matching game with leaderboards, and a quiz, and a "falling katakana" game as well.
